New crawler application released

New registrations are temporarily closed

Hi Everyone,

The main goal of the project is to conduct end-to-end fine-grained monitoring of web sites. These web sites are monitored from different point-of-view (our host/network) and each WU contains a pre-defined set of web transactions.

Your clients doesn’t get WUs because currently Surveill@Home is limiting the number of WUs in order to limit bandwidth demanding and the possibility of using BOINC to recruit and deploy a machine base to launch denial of service style web attacks.

In the next days we will speed up WUs generation based on WUs processed and host locations.

I'll temporarily stop new registrations.

The project was down while we remodel our database server.

Dynamic WUs attribution

Hi Everyone,



Why your clients don’t get WUs on a 24/7 basis?

Our goal is to deploy thousands of active probes primarily in distinct networks in order to measure the Internet infrastructure in real time.
To archive this goal, a small number of probes in each distinct network are more than enough.

From now on, in order to limit bandwidth demanding, we will be limiting WUs attribution based on your host location and the number of probes deploy in your network.
